This year Mobile World Congress took place at Barcelona in 27 February – 2 March, where between all the great known mobile devices manufacturers, Nokia presented their first Android phones. It was long awaited moment for all Nokia fans around the world and at the same time, very important step for Finnish company getting back into the game.
Nokia revealed 3 new Android phones that will compete in different smartphone categories, from low budget devices to flagman series. From the first sight they all look very alike and size is the only main difference between them, but looking closer you start to notice slight changes in the housing. Later we’ll get into more details on that.
Another great news is that Nokia phones will be running completely stock build of Android Nougat 7, with no bloat or needless UI customization. Company went for a pure version of Android in order to deliver clean and simple user experience also making it much more easier to keep up with Google’s future updates.
Now it’s time to take a closer look on each model.
Nokia 3
It’s one of the best looking budget class smartphone, filled with many great features for a really fair price.
Nokia 3 comes with aluminum housing that has rounded side edges, making whole device feel exclusively luxurious compared with any other smartphone in this range. Back side of the phone is made from polycarbonate alloy, which seems resistant only for a light scratches.
On the front, there’s 5 inch HD IPS (720p) display protected with Gorilla Glass. Right above the screen stands 8MP front facing camera, capturing surprisingly good quality images and videos.
Looking at the down side, 3 visible control buttons fits right below the screen. Bottom of the body has 1 speaker, Micro-USB charging port and a microphone.
You can get Nokia 3 for only 139€. But before you do, take a look at technical specifications below.

Nokia 5
Another great looking device from Nokia series and definitely a good choice if you’re looking for the best price and device capability ratio.
The look of Nokia 5 seems more luxurious compared with Nokia 3. And that’s because the back side of Nokia 5 is made from light weight aluminum alloy, making device more resistant to unexpected drop or light damage.
Rounded back side also covers all the housing edges that connects with Gorilla Glass, protecting 5.2 HD IPS display from scratches. Having 0.2 inches larger screen, Nokia 5 still can be easily manageable with a single hand.
Physical home button is fitted at the bottom of the screen, but unlike on Nokia 3, this one has fingerprint lock feature making device accessible in much easier and faster way.
Main camera comes with 13MP quality, capable of capturing high quality images and recording videos in FHD resolution. However, you will not be able to fully enjoy FHD resolution videos while watching them on Nokia 5 HD screen.
Front camera was not improved and stays the same as is on Nokia 3. But users should be happy with 370mAh larger battery capacity expanding smartphone lifetime while in use.
Below you’ll find more technical specifications, which compared with its rivals, shows that Nokia 5 has really great price ratio. You can get one for 189€.

Nokia 6
The biggest smartphone from Nokia series, with even larger technical specification list. It’s obvious that company decided to make brilliant, splendid shining flagman that looks and feels exclusive from it’s competitors.
From the first look at its design, it’s easy to notice that 5.5 inch IPS LCD display has rounded bump edges and that’s because whole screen is a bit lifted from the housing. This delivers an unusual but at the same time very satisfying feeling that you’re touching LCD straight without a Gorilla Glass protection.
Unlike devices mentioned above, Nokia 6 stands out with FHD display capable of showing images and videos in 1920 x 1080 resolution. As usual, physical home button fitted right below the screen, but this one includes fingerprint scanner, making device more secure and easier to unlock.
Another improvement that we found is two Dolby Atmos speakers fitted below the frame that delivers surprisingly clear and loud sound no matter it’s music or ringtone.
Back of the phone is covered with light aluminium alloy protecting device from light scratches or damage. It also makes whole device feel strengthened while holding in a hand, especially when comparing it with Nokia 3 and 5 series.
This flagman is equipped with the best camera that company made so far. Main shooter can capture 16MP quality videos and images. Sadly, front facing camera has no changes and stays the same as on earlier mentioned models.
It’s also hard to understand why Nokia 6 didn’t come with larger battery capacity while having biggest body from its series. It just might be that free space was used for bigger 32 or 64GB internal storage.
Now lets get to final and the best part that may put a smile on your face. This flagman was set to surprisingly good price and despite of really great technical specification list it’s available for only 229€.
